Obituary of Stephen Daniel Burchette

Stephen Daniel Burchette of West Jefferson went home to heaven on July 30th. He was born on August 26, 1981 to Sandra Wyatt Johnson of West Jefferson and Steve Burchette of Marion Va. He loved his family and enjoyed playing guitar, drag racing and auto body work. He is survived by his mother and father, his fiancée Jennifer Proffitt and her son Elija Brown of Morganton, his maternal grandmother Toy Wyatt of West Jefferson. A memorial service is planned for Saturday September 11th at 3:00pm at the Bald Mountain Baptist Church cemetery. If weather is bad it will be in the fellowship hall of the church.
