I remember as a student working with Jim many years ago at ASU Police Department. Back then it was called ASU security. He always was smiling and had a funny story to tell.

What a fabulous and loving neighbor Jim and Rena have been the 6 Years we've lived next door. They both shine the light of Christ in their words and actions. We'll miss the early morning weed eater and his friendly waves. Rena you're in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. So sorry for your loss. Love Dennis and CarrollAnn

I have known Jim my entire life he was one of the kindest good hearted people I have ever known. A fine Christian, husband, father, public servant and law enforcement officer, and a pilar at Oak Grove Baptist Church, he will be deeply missed by our community and by me. Rena, god bless you dear, we are praying for you, as is the whole of our church family. May the peace and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with God's people.

I worked with Jim at the ASU PD for many years. What I remember most about him was his kindness to everyone. I never saw him in a bad mood-he was always smiling.
I will miss seeing him mowing his yard and throwing his hand up in a wave RIP dear friend

Jim and Rena became my friends when I met her at Timberland. I love them both very much. Jim was always kind and sweet as anyone could be with a smiling face. My memories with him will be cherished always. He will be missed by many.
