Cheryl Annette Glenn Howell, age 57, of Joe Shoemaker Road, Vilas, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 3rd. 2014 at Watauga Medical Center. Born February 3, 1957 in Watauga County, she was a daughter of William David and Lucille Harmon Glenn. Cheryl was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She received her nursing degree from Caldwell Community College.
Mrs. Howell is survived by her brother, Lenney R. Glenn of Vilas; and her sister-in-law, Mildred Glenn of Sugar Grove. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Howell; two brothers, Bob and David Glenn; and her parents, William David and Lucille Harmon Glenn.
Funeral services for Cheryl Glenn Howell will be conducted Monday evening, May 5, 2014, at 7 o�clock at the Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Daniel Lawrence. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 7 o�clock, prior to services, at Austin & Barnes.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o�clock at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, in care of Bennie Trivette, 211 Honey Dew Lane, Banner Elk, NC 28604.
