I am so deeply sorry about your loss. Robert always made me laugh when I would go through the drive thru at the QP. He was there a long time, from the time I was pregnant with my now almost 7 year old son. I just wanted to share with you all something funny he said to me that has and will always stick with me. I went through after getting gas and Jace was only a week or so old at the time. Robert of course told me how handsome he was and then said "right now you cant wait for him to start walking and talking, but just give it a couple years and you'll want him to sit down and shut up!" Boy was he right!! He was a very kind soul and he will be greatly be missed.

Kay, I don’t know if you remember us, we meet you a couple of times with Jim when we were out & about in Boone. We first met Jim at Honey Bear Campground, where we enjoyed many happy camping trips! Jim was always so accommodating & full of life. We loved seeing him as we drove into the campground! He loved our dog Hogan, the big, but so sweet Rottweiler. We are so sorry for your loss. Dear Family,
Grandpa Jimmy is no longer panning for gold on this earth. He is walking the streets of gold in Heaven. Jimmy touched so many lives. His love, kindness and mischief made the world a better place. No one had to tell him when something needed to be done. For what was needed, he willingly took it upon himself and made things better for everyone around him. When God made Jimmy, HE made someone easy to love, an example of someone to follow and hard to forget. Now we have the blessing of following his example. May The Lord touch all of his loved ones and bring them comfort and peace. With the hope, that each one of us will meet again in heaven, Jimmy's new residence. In Jesus Name, Amen.
This picture was taken 10/05/2017 for an after-school Bible Club, The Right Path Club. Jimmy & Mrs. Kay drove down from Boone to Clinton, NC to help teach 100+ children. Thank you Lord for the blessing of Jimmy.
