Obituary of Gladyce Mae Bradshaw

Gladyce Mae Dotson Bradshaw, 92, of Sugar Grove North Carolina danced through the gates of Heaven and met her Lord and Savior on the morning of April 20th, 2021. Gladyce was born in Watauga County to Don and Bina Hicks Dotson on May 9th, 1928. She was proud of her mountain heritage and held a love of music and dancing passed down by her parents, which she enjoyed until the very end. She lived her life to the fullest with a strong will, a fierce determination, and deep love for her family and friends. She left a lasting impression on everyone she crossed paths with and always spoke her mind. She will remain in the hearts of her family and each and every person she touched along the way. Her legacy continues on through her children, Steve Wyatt (Tammy) of Rhonda, NC, Eddie Wyatt (Kim) of Stanley, NC, Lisa Richardson (Kevin) of Boone, NC, Paula Sigmon (David) of Conover, Tony Bradshaw (Becky Dean) of Fleetwood, NC, and Linda Bradshaw (Jeff Shore) of Boone, NC; her two sisters, Eunice Bushburger of Boone, NC and Lilly Speaks of Mt Gilead, NC; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Ernest Thermal Wyatt and Grady Robert Bradshaw; three brothers, Charles Walt, Robert Lee, and Albert Billy Dotson; and two sisters, Donnie Burton and Lois Nivens. A celebration of life for Gladyce will be held at Saint John's Episcopal Church in Valle Crucis for family and friends. Exact date and time to be announced.
