Roswita Hoffman 'Roz' Fisher, age 91, of Chestnut Hill Village, Blowing Rock, passed away Thursday morning, May 1, 2014 at the Davant Rehab & Extended Care Facility in Blowing Rock. She was born May 11, 1922 in Bremen, Germany. Roz was and inspiration to all who knew her. She was a wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family, was an avid nature lover, and was happiest when tending her garden.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by two sons, James Fisher and wife, Anne, of Blowing Rock, and Michael Fisher and wife, Paula Richman, of Oberlin, Ohio. Two grandchildren, Noah and Emily Fisher, and one great-grandson, Elias Fisher also survive.
Services for Roz Fisher will be conducted at a later date.
