Your mother was a beautiful example of love. She always had time to stop and say hi and see how you were doing. Didn't matter if she was at the miniature golf place or at the grocery store she always was smiling and always left you feeling good! Praying for strength.

So sorry for your loss. John I worked with you during the Green Park days, but your Mom was a customer of mine when I worked at Belk and she was a joy. And yes, we talked about you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Emma Shoemake

I remember “June from Boone” from when she came with Mr. Garlock to the cancer center. She was always happy, always smiling, and sure loved Mr. Jerry. It was a pleasure to have been able to get to know her.

I knew your Mother only through your wonderful Dad Jerry. I had their insurance for several years and everytime your dad was in my office he was always talking about his lovely wife and great children. You are blessed for having wonderful parents. Condolences for the family.

I am so sorry for your loss of “Sweet June from Boone”. My daughter Apryl grew up with Beth June’s grand daughter. I will never forget when Beth came to the Mts with us and said “Let’s go play mini golf in Boone. My grandmother owns it”. It was such a fun day playing mini golf with the beautiful flowers surrounding us. Then we moved to Boone permanently and I was a RN where June came to live for awhile at Appalachian Brian Estates. She was such a happy soul and enjoyed being with all the residents. June made you feel special and she just shined with love for others. I know she will be greatly missed and especially by me. God bless her soul in Heaven.
