Mr. and Mrs. Fox were always so sweet when I saw them regularly at the doctor’s office I used to work in. It was an absolute pleasure seeing them each time, and they treated me with kindness and love every single time. Mrs. Fox was so precious. She always pulled the paper down on the exam table after each visit as a way of helping clean up. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, but I know she is with the Lord. We shared a common faith, which was another thing that made seeing her and Mr. Fox so special. I will keep your family in my prayers as I know she will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,
Carly Blevins

Dear Anne, even though I never got to spend time with your mom, I always remembered the few times I saw her how angelica she was, she always seem to have a inviting smile that made a person know she care. Praying for you and the families to receive a healing heart.

I loved your mom. As a young nurse, she was a role model and friend for me. She was so proud of her children posted photos and newspaper clippings about you both on our office bulletin board at the Health Dept. She was a wonderful nurse and all of our patients and health dept staff looked forward to seeing her warm smile. We remained friends for 40 years - often by catching up at the Rams Rack on Saturday mornings. Shirley (and your dad Bennie) will be missed by everyone who knew them. She spent her life improving life for the rest of us. I was lucky to know her. I will keep the family in my prayers.

I remembered a gift Ms. Shirley brought to my mom when daddy passed away. It was a beautiful tea pot. Daddy passed away in 1976. We had kept the tea pot until just a few months ago. Every time I dusted it I would think of Ms. Shirley and her kindness. I gave this tea pot to a dear friend who also has terminal cancer. I told her the wonderful story behind the tea pot and what a blessing it had been to our family. I suggested she pass it on to someone she would like to encourage. God bless.

I will always remember Ms. Shirley as such a compassionate lady. When my father, Albert Cornett, was so sick with cancer, Ms. Shirley came to our home and taught my mom how to give him pain shots. She would then come by frequently to check on daddy and mom. Such a blessing. I would be willing to bet she is talking now with the Lord and all the many she nursed. May God richly bless you is my prayer!!!!
