Scott, Susie and Chris,
I just heard of the terrible tragedy of Andy’s death. It has struck me in a very profound way…I have been reliving the many, many good times that I had with Andy. From the first time that I saw him as a kid in his red bandanna at your house to the times we spent together when he worked for me to the time he told me about the birth of his first child as he was beaming-I treasure all of those times. I feel your pain in my heart as we share the pain of losing a child…something that no parent should ever have to endure. May God’s peace and strength be upon you. Please remember that you plus God equals a majority. He can carry you through each and every day, getting you through the years of heartache to come. I just want to send my warm thoughts and prayers to each of you and also to his wife and children. Please contact me anytime. I would love to talk. My favorite scripture since my son died is Isaiah 26:19. It gives me comfort and hope that our boys are not forgotten to our God. That scripture says that they are residents in the dust, and we look forward to being reunited with them in the resurrection that is promised in the scriptures as they are awakened and cry out joyfully.

I am so very sorry to learn of Andy’s death. He was a sweet person and a gifted carpenter. He helped renovate an old home that I put on the market and he did a beautiful job. He was friends with my son since high school and I remember when he was dancing. I know he will be deeply missed by his family.

Andy was one of our first students at my dance studio. Such a talented guy and a great heart. Everyone liked him. These are two of my favorite pictures of him and the way I will always remember him.

Hey buddy, I never thought that I would have to look through old photo albums to see you again. I know I am not alone when I say that my life never would have been what it is, if you were not in it. As we grew older and had families, I always took it for granted that we would see each other again. I am going to miss you brother.
Vera, eventhough we only met a few times, if there is anything that you or the kids need just let me know. Your husband was one of a kind. I am sure you already knew this. My heart goes out to you during this time. Even if we have never really talked before, if you need an ear for anything just say the word.
To the kids, if you grow up and ever want to know things about you dad when he was young. Just ask, I will never forget him.
Scott, and Susan, you have my number now. If there is anything that you need please let me know. Your home was my 2nd home. I have always considered you guys like a second family. I know I am not the only one either. Your son impacted alot of lives during his time, and he will never be forgotten.
Chris, I always considered you and Andy my brothers. I can't fathom the pain that your feeling, but understand that as long as I am on this earth, you are never alone.
