Gary, I just found out today that Marisa passed away on Valentine’s Day. I was visiting my granddaughter in Las Vegas & I am sorry I didn’t know about this until today. Marisa was so good to Mother Trivette & when she passed away, she made me & some of the granddaughters a Angel made out of mother’s dress. I still display it. I know you will miss her deeply just like I miss Howard. He passed away on November 30, 2019. You & the family have my Deepest Sympathy. Much Love to you All. Kay Trivette

Preacher Gary,
I am so sorry to hear about Marisa's passing. You two were among the first that knew I was expecting Hannah and you both stood by me through so much, especially when I lost Momma Louise and Mamaw. Marisa's hugs and conversations were a source of comfort and strength through some difficult times. I know she's singing Beulah Land in Heaven with the angels and I'm blessed that I know I'll see her again one day. We love you and you're in our thoughts and prayers.

We are so deeply saddened to hear of Marisa's passing and it is so hard to believe that she is gone. Not only was Marisa an inspiring woman with a humble nature, always putting others before herself and touching the lives of those she knew, but her life was a true testimony for the Lord. Her faith in Christ was apparent in everything she said or did. She was beautiful soul, full of love and faith. She has now ascended to Heaven, away from us, but closer to our Lord and what a joyous time it must be!
Brother Gary - we hope that the Lord brings you and your family the much-needed peace during this sad time. Our condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.

Brother Gary, I am overcome with shock to see Marisa's obituary! My heart just began to pour out Precious Memories! I can still see she, her Mom, Sherry and Eva singing in perfect harmony at My Pleasant Baptist in Avery County. Talk about Heaven getting sweeter all the time! So sad to learn of Marisa's passing. It was an honor to care for this sweet lady. She never complained even at her sickest. I wish I had known her before she became sick.
