Uncle Gary (and aunt Donna) were always one of the highlights of visiting North Carolina. Uncle Gary’s vibrant stories, thick accent, and light hearted joking always made for a capturing conversation. I think he may have been the brightest most welcoming memory of my visits to the place of my heritage. He will be missed, dearly. Even though I did not see him every day, his smile impacted my life. Rest peacefully Uncle Gary.

Sorry to hear of Gary's passing. My dad, Claud, thought a lot of Gary and the whole family. Whenever I would come home for a visit and go to Westview, they would all make me feel right at home. Sending peace and comfort to the entire family. Gary was a wonderful example of a true Christian.
