I am so very sorry to hear of Vertie's passing. Though I had heard of Vertie in my family I did not meet her until we both were young adults. From the time I met her at an exercise class at Parkway school I considered her my first cousin. Vertie was named after our grandmother.
Every time I saw her she was so pleasant and had that beautiful smile. She glowed from her inner beauty and love for the Lord. I loved her optimistic spirit and know she had her struggles. I loved all that she was.
May Holy God comfort Gary, Gary Jr., Andrea and all her loved ones in their grief.
Heaven has gained a beautiful soul!!! Until I see you again Cousin Vertie.

Our hearts are truly broken. We just don't know if we've ever met a more sweet, beautiful and gracious lady. If you ever wanted to look at Jesus love while here on earth, you could just look at her. We will always miss her coming to visit with us at the shop, just sitting and visiting and enjoying her smile. At least we can all know that it's not forever... We'll see you after while Miss Vertie~
We'll be praying for comfort and peace for the family knowing God will help carry you through.
