To ms. Shelby and the family, I want you to know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers, not only now but also in the coming days. Sheb was a great friend! Always willing to help me out with a cow or hay trade. I’ll definitely miss seeing him around and getting to pick at him.

Shelb as we all knew him, was a great neighbor and friend. I was so sad when I heard of his passing. He will be missed by all of us whose lives he touched in one way or another. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the days ahead.

To the Eggers family my old friend Shelb, will be greatly missed by me. I'M speechless. I & my DAD (Gareth Ward ) was just talking about Shelb, this past week. I ask how he was doing. I am sorry for your great loss Eggers family. Shelb has been my neighbor for 15 years, and always gave help when asked. He was also very funny. I visited him while he was repairing a section of fence which had the misfortune of having a tree from his upper pasture come down on it (and across my driveway). He looked up, grinned and said "And this is why you shouldn't build fences in the woods." I shall miss our conversations as we stopped our trucks in the middle of Mountain Dale Rd. when we passed each other going in opposite directions.

I remember you from when my brother and I were kids. You and your dad ran a sawmill just above our home on North Fork rd in Zionville. We would watch you all work and we always liked to see you run your Caterpillar. Fascinated us. You were always so friendly and careful, always watching out for us. Appreciate you.
