Before George (as I knew him) worked at Global Crossing, he was employed at Stein Roe & Farnham. I was employed there as well & that is where we met. We became close friends instantly. So close in fact that he called me "sis" & I called him "little brother". Even after he moved back home to NC we stayed in close contact. Talked for hours at least twice a week. When he moved to Raleigh it was the same. I knew of his illness but his calls became less frequent. Then I tried calling but he never answered. I'm sure it was because he wasn't doing well. My only regret is that I never got to say goodbye to my dear friend. I'll never hear his voice again or see that handsome face again. But I'll always have wonderful memories that we shared. I will love & miss him forever. Rest in peace little brother. Oh & by the way ......Happy heavenly birthday.❤

I am so sorry to hear about Keith. That is the name I called him as I worked with his Dad and that is the name I knew. I saw him one time while at work. Such a beautiful child and a handsome young man. I did not know he had been sick. I heard from him for awhile on facebook but had not heard from him for awhile. I did not know if he had moved. My condolence. I know he had a loving family. I am sure all the children are grown and I did not know them since Len's death in 1997 and me leaving work in 1999. I know that Len loved his family and I am sure his Mother gave him good care. Joyce is such a beautiful lady and had a nice family. I am so glad that he could be home and get the care he so deserved. I am sorry for your loss and sorry you are hurting. Having lost my son I know it is something you never get over. And I knew the family through Len. His Mom and Dad, I remember. And I remember him talking of Keith's grandmother he help take care of. My thoughts and prayers are with all. I do not get out much and it is such a hard time with all that everyone is going through. I am glad he had a big family and his Mother has them to stand by her and that you can comfort each other There is just me and Glenn. I am thinking of you with love and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. Donna and Glenn Hicks
