We would like to give our condolences to Lawrence‘s family. Lawrence was a wonderful photographer who took many pictures of the churches in Ashe County. I will not forget the trips we made in the van to go to singspiration, Senior Saints trips, And church outings. Lawrence will be missed. May the God of peace comfort you with all his love and presence.

As the widow of Lawrence's first cousin Daniel Carl Lawrence, I know that Lawrence was respected by my husband and his brothers (Coy Lawrence's boys). In the years I have known Lawrence I have found him to be one that was always caring for other people. I saw him take care of his mother and father. I know that he was very interested in family and their history. I fear that a lot of family history has been lost with his passing.
My husband and I made many trips up the mountains to visit Lawrence and Jody. They were trips that we enjoyed and looked forward to. Lawrence will be missed. Sue Lawrence
