I spent a lot of my childhood years playing with the Tester children. Peggy taught me piano and I've never forgotten how excited I was to learn from her. I am so sorry for this huge loss. My deepest condolences...Lynn Lackey

Welch and Peggy had five kids. Welch's sister, Jean and husband, Jim, had six. There were lots of cousins! The cousins have many happy memories with Peggy and at Valle Crucis Conference Center Tester reunions; Peggy had a smile that could light up a room. Condolences to all the cousins as you deal with this loss. MIke and Rhonda Herman, Jefferson NC

John Cooper and I were enamored from the beginning of our relationship with both Peggy and Welch. She especially captured our hearts. The journey of our very special relationship with Peggy included so many bonus relationships with many members of her family. The joy we felt when she and Fred found each other was all for her. The time they enjoyed together was a gift to them both. She touched our lives in a loving and helpful way at at time when we needed her and she needed us. What a gracious and loving presence we were blessed to have in our lives. Her memory lives on in so many lives. She was so well loved by many.
We loved her too, Faye Bolick Cooper
