My heart is sick that the world has lost such a kind and loving person. I worked with him for too many years to remember and cherished his friendship. Scott could make you smile whenever things were not going well. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was dedicated to his patients. I loved Scott and spoke with him shortly before his death. I cherish that last conversation. Rest in peace, my friend. We will meet again, Willa Brown-Cecil

Scott was a hard-working & dependable nurse that loved his patients. He was part of a great team of employees that loved working at Glenbridge & taking care of wonderful residents. And he especially loved baseball! God bless his family.

Dear MacDonough Family,
I was sad to read about Scott’s passing. I used to work with him at Glenstone many years ago. The mention of him using his Donald Duck voice reminded me of that and made me smile.
May God bless and keep you in His loving embrace.

Scott was my dad’s favorite nurse during the four years he was at Glenstone/Glenbridge. Scott was kind, funny, attentive, patient and loved his residents. He always met me with a smile and kept close watch on my dad’s various blood levels so that his medications could be adjusted as needed. Scott’s Donald Duck voice was a big hit and cheered up everyone. If I was upset after visiting with Daddy, Scott would encourage me to go home and rest and let Scott and the staff take care of him. Scott was an outstanding nurse and a special man. I know you miss him terribly.

To the entire McDonough family,
I am at a loss for words to express how sorrowful I am for all of you and the loss you are experiencing. As you know, I spent a great deal of time throughout a younger season of life in Scott’s company. We were both a work in progress back then but I remember many good times and, of course, the duck voice was always a happy surprise. Scott cared for my grandfather at Glenbridge and it was good to know he was being watched over by someone kind. I think of your family fondly and pray God will meet your needs in special ways in the coming days!
Sincerely,
Sharon

My precious nurse. He always got me on april fools. He knew each patient by memory their families and all employees. I knew when he came to me with a concern that it was legitimate. I will never forget him. Claire he made me proud and my heart grieves for you. Loved him very much. Worried when he got sick. When hecouldntcomeback to work it was such a loss. Peace my friend.
