Sorry for your loss. I remember when Mary was at Howard's Creek. She gave me a bookmark called THE SECRET at Christmas in 1974. I still have it and use it. May God comfort you during this difficult time.

Mary will truly be missed. She was such a huge part of my life as a kid. Our families were best friends and we spent nearly every weekend with their family. We had camping trips, Sunday outings after church on the Parkway, We had many meals together and lots of other fun times. She always had cookies and homemade bread and would send Bobby to the porch to get one of the "company drinks". She made her home feel like you were truly welcome. Bobby, Sharon and I were very good friends and had a lot of fun growing up together. She made me feel like I was one of her own anytime I was with the. Mary and R.l. continued to be friends with my parents after we were all grown and married so she was there when I had my children. I guess you could say that I saw Mary as a second mama. She was a blessing to have as a friend.
My love and prayers are with the family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. It has broken our heart to lose precious Mary. Mary and R.L. took us under their wing when we moved to Boone many years ago. She became my “other” Mom and was always there when I needed to talk or a shoulder to lean on. I’ll never forget her homemade bread and her chocolate oatmeal cookies. Heaven is sweeter knowing she is there. Praying for you Brenda, Sharon, Bob, and Larry that God will give you grace to make it through this time. Mary will never be forgotten because she will always remain in our heart and memory. It was such a privilege to have known and loved Mary and R.L. May God bless you.
Love,
Sandy, Mark, and Brother Barlowe

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort help you during this difficult time. (2Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus prayed for God’s Kingdom to come because He knew it would intervene to solve all mankind’s problems even sickness and death. (Revelation 21:3,4 & Daniel 2:44).
