There is always comfort in remembering how the ones we love, touched our lives. And there is comfort in remembering that death is not the end. Death is not death, if we know the Lord. It is merely a change of place, a change of state, and a transfer from one realm to another. Death is not death, if it raises us in a moment from darkness to light, from weakness to strength, and from sinfulness to holiness. Death is not death, if it perfects our faith and lets us behold Him in whom we have believed. Death is not death, if it rids us of doubt and fear, of sickness and disease, and of sorrow and sadness. Death is not death, if it gives us back to those we loved and lost, and to whom we longed to see again. Death is not death, for Christ has conquered death Himself, and for those who trust in Him." Death is not death, if it kills no part of us, except that which hindered us from the perfect life. It has been said that whenever God closes a door, He opens a window. Last evening, He chose in His great mercy, to close the door on Aunt Ruby’s life here on earth. And it was at that exact same moment, He opened a window in heaven for her to enter in. Even in our sorrow, today is a day to rejoice because we know that the promises of our Lord have been fulfilled in the life of Aunt Ruby, and that she has received the crown of eternal life.

God bless Ruby & her family. Everyone loved Ruby & her wonderful husband Earl, a great veteran & fine Christian gentleman. Elaine has always been more than wonderful to her parents & their friends all the time. Ruby & Earl had wonderful lives, the Lord truly blessed them, & all of us.
