We have known Sandra forever seems like. You will never find a more loving, happy person with a continuous smile. Over the years we have talked kids and grandkids and she was truly a dedicated family person. Heaven is a happy place , having welcomed her home. She will be sorely missed.

Your Mama was such a special lady! I will always remember how kind she was to us kids when we would visit the Dairy House. Probably the most familiar Face and cheering section for ALL Ashe Central Spiorts. But it was not limited to sports. Mama Lucas had never met a stranger and every child that came in contact with her had a new found suppirter for Life. That last time Sandy and I spoke we were Tailgating at App State when it only made sense that she was there cheering on her Grandsons and their teammates. It was so good to see the Pride in her smile for her Grandsons. Just like the smile I witnessed when she watched her Precious Children. Butch Tony and Chris I have been fortunate enough to run into or talk with from time to time but had not seen Sis. I know the loss of such an amazing strong woman who has been the beacon for the family. She was so proud of you all. Many prayers and Condollences. Love you always

Today is the anniversary of my Dad’s death so I’m sure he was there at heavens gates with open arms to give Mama Lucas a hug!
