I will always remember how Aunt Rena would come right out of her front door at full volume to greet us with dogs barking just as loudly right behind her. As the commotion settled once she get the dogs in and the door closed, she’d look me full in the face with twinkling eyes and calmly say “Hey Honey! How are ya?”, then go right back to talking to Mom at full volume and excitement. There will never be another one like Aunt Rena; at least I’ve never met anyone else like her! A true original! And so cool that Aunt Rena and Mom shared their birthday...very special sisters.
