Obituary of Jeffrey Glen Hoppach

Jeffrey Hoppach passed away in the early hours of May 21 after a long battle with COPD. His family was at his side. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Theresa Hoppach and his son Nathaniel of Blowing Rock, NC. His father Gordon Hoppach, his brother Dan Hoppach and wife Lisa, his nephew John Taylor, wife Vickie and their children TJ and Lyndsey. His mother in law Elaine Schweinsberg, his brother in law Gregory Schweinsberg and his children Isabel, Jocelyn, Cydney, John, Daniel and Samuel. Jeff made his career as a Master Carpenter and was able to build his families dream home in Blowing Rock. He and his wife celebrated the birth of their only son Nathaniel days before their 18th wedding anniversary. Truly a Gift from God and a great blessing. We say special thanks to Jeff's brother in law Gregory Schweinsberg who was a great help to Jeff in his last few months. His friend Gail Scoggins for her love and kindness and wonderful haircuts. To Dr. Wolfe, Dr. Graham, Dr. Brendle, Lincare and Caldwell Hospice, we thank you for your wonderful care and kindness throughout Jeff's illness. Jeff will be remembered by his family and friends as a unique spirit with a kind and loyal heart. His family and friends are Celebrating his Life with private gatherings.
