Dear Louise, Jerry, Tim , William and Danny,
I am so deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Regina. She was one of the first to welcome me to the neighborhood and always had a smile and a wave. I know she had had quite a road of challenge with her foot surgeries. How I will miss seeing her and stopping for a quick chat on Wallingford.
I can only imagine how deep your grief is at such a sudden tragedy of losing such a special Mom, Sister, Daughter, Companion and Friend. My prayers are uplifting each of you and may God lead you to comfort and peace and dry your tears.
In His love,
Peggy Kniskern Wilson

It is with sadness that we express our sympathies to the family of Regina Angelina Pelsmaeker. As the daughter of one of our fallen, Blowing Rock Police Chief William Dean Green, end of watch January 18th 1963, Regina was part of our extended police family. Regina has been a part of our community for many years and has been a great advocate for our law enforcement and other emergency services. Regina has been instrumental in keeping the memory of her father alive and has attended law enforcement memorial service at the federal, state and local level. Our thoughts and prayers are with Regina’s family during this difficult time.

I know if my heart is breaking the family's must be shattered. Regina was a wonderful friend to me and supported me through a lot of tough times. We would talk and confide in each other our personal and work troubles and help each other to sort them out. I am really going miss having those conversations. William if I could hug you right now I would. Your mother was so very proud of you and she always told me that she didn't know what you were going to do with your life but what ever it was it WAS going to be great! She loved you more than anything always remember that. You are her heart and soul make her proud. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and the family during this difficult time. Love you William!

I don't even know where to begin...My mind is still reeling and my heart breaks to know you are gone. The memories I will treasure are too numerous to count. Who would have thought the two of us would have become like sisters over the years? We didn't even like each other when we first met in college! We shared so many milestones, good and bad, and always had each other's back through it all. You opened my eyes to the joys of antiquing, yard sales and auctions and we even made pretty good business partners during our Hillsville run...The laughter, the tears, the joys and the sorrows we shared were cemented by a love and friendship so rare that many people never know it. I was always proud of your many successes but none more so than what a wonderful mommy you were to William -- what a special young man you raised...
To Mama Louise, Paw Jerry and all the rest of the family, I pray that you are able to find some comfort in God's loving embrace through all of this. Tim, hold on tightly to that little man and don't ever let him doubt how much his mama loved him and how proud she was of him.
Much love to you all,
Connie

Regina was one of the best mamas anyone could ask for! William you are her pride and joy! When you dance she just glows! She put her heart and soul into everything she did. If you needed a pirate costume for Peter Pan to duet costumes she came up with what you needed! If you needed props built you could count on Tim and Regina. They poured into William and it shows! Never give up! Keep on keeping on! She wouldn’t want anything less! Regina, we sure are going to miss your infectious smile and laughter! Thank you for being with us and helping create so many fond memories! Why God picks some flowers so early... I don’t know. But I know where you are and we have the assured promise we will see you again! We will dance on streets of gold!
Family, our hearts break with you but know we love you and are praying for each one!
Love you, Vanessa, Amber and all of the High Country Dance Studio Family

So many sweet memories Gina. When we had the mumps at the same time talking between our bedroom windows, climbing the big tree in the back yard and Dean having to get us down because we went up so high, playing in the dog houses with Boyd R’s dogs, eating pancakes at mama Louise’s, playing barbie’s at my house, you in my wedding and so so much more. The 2 best memories, being with Gina as she was baptized and her being a mama! She loved being William’s mama and couldn’t have been any prouder of him. I will miss you Gina! I’ll see you again one day♥️ Love always, Becky Guinn
