We are saddened to learn of Mary's passing. She was a much loved lady of Blowing Rock and we all knew and admired her and her family. The last time we saw her was at Dianna Green's funeral and she was concerned about who was going to care for Dianna's beloved dog. That's the kind of caring person she was. To the family of Mary, so sorry for your loss. I met your sweet mother while my mother, Sara Jo, was in Foley Rehab. They had such a great time together and became great friends with some of the other sweet ladies. They had so much fun having meals together along with other activities in addition to the therapy. And we always went to the church service on Sundays. Mary even sent my mother a card thanking her for the chocolates we gave her just before we left to go back to Florida before Christmas. My mother got sick and had a stroke and passed away a few weeks ago and I was so very sorry to hear about Mary so soon after. I was hoping to go by to visit Mary again when I was able to get back up to my house in Blowing Rock. Your mother was so sincere and caring, and she was so enjoyable to talk to and really made our family’s time at Foley so much better. You will all be in my prayers.
