I don't get to keep in touch much since I moved so far away. You were both always so kind to me growing up. You are both the sweetest people. I hate to hear of Lloyd's passing. My condolences to your family. I will always think of you both fondly.
Love and Prayers,
Meliea Brown Miller

Just want to say that I really enjoyed the times I met you and talked with you. My dad Ernest Pardue spoke of you many many times. He really thought alot of you. To Josephine, I'm so sorry for your loss. Bless your heart. May God comfort you this very minute. Mike Pardue.

Lloyd was not a big talker, so when he had something to say, we knew to listen. He was a “salt of the earth” kind of individual and all of our memories of him are positive ones. He was interested in so many different areas of our U.S. history.
We send heartfelt condolences for their loss to his sister, Margaret, wife, Jos, as well the relatives and families of Charles Miller, Joan Miller MacDonald, and Debbie Presnell Newman, Betty and Anne.
The Miller Family is an integral part of Watauga County history and Lloyd is missed by many!

I know you are and will always be surrounded by love! Will miss Uncle Lloyd, but will always remember you in my heart and mind. I remember Lloyd said to me "you're lookin' mighty peart today" ??? Had to GOOGLE that to see what it meant. "Lively and cheerful". Also telling me he'd "have to kill me if I found out where the still was". Deepest thoughts and wishes to Aunt Josephine, Charles, Joan and all the rest of the family. I miss you and wish I could be there to support you all. With all my love and condolences...Perry
