I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Lewis. I always remember him smiling & laughing. He was so kind & loving. Tammy & I loved visits with Aunt Lena & Uncle Lewis (& cousins). His memory will always bring happy thoughts! Sending love to you all!

I have many childhood memories of staying at Uncle Lewis' house when my family travelled across the states to visit Grandma Combs and all of my mom's family in Boone and Vilas. Many times my cousins and I were told to stop the giggling and get to sleep. Great memories of picking green beans and blackberries, playing with the animals, and walking back and forth to grandma's house. Uncle Lewis was always kind, loving and welcoming. I always felt safe and loved. He will be sorely missed but the memories of him will live on. Love and prayers to all of you. Colleen Faherty (Blair)
