I lived in East Hall at ASU in the 1990’s, where Cricket and her friend Loraine took care of hundreds of us younguns every single day. She loved us so so well. She taught us everyday about how to serve and care for people and make them feel special. When she and Loraine retired, a bunch of us threw them a retirement party at the park by Horn in the West because we just wanted to celebrate them and let them know how much they meant to us. I hope Cricket’s family knows just how much we valued her care at the college and how much we love her still. We are all so thankful for her loving heart and joyful laugh and how she made our lives better just by being in it. Cricket will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Our prayers are with the family who will miss her so. Amy Todd-Paine (on behalf of so many college students who loved her dearly)
