Uncle Bill, I don't remember my life without you. I was so fortunate to have you in my life when Daddy couldn't be here for me, when I was young and as an adult. I looked up to you and valued your opinion and advice that you gave me. Thank you for that, it meant a lot. You were a sweet and thoughtful man, always thinking of others needs before your own. I will honor your memory by being more like you were. The world needs more people like you, it would make it a better place. I miss you so much, and I will always love you. Bill has always seemed like an uncle more than a cousin, but he is, for certain, my favorite. Bill will forever be a gentle giant in my mind, the consummate gentleman. He may have given some harsh words somewhere in his life, but I never saw it. His calm, laid back demeanor put the people around him at ease. I so appreciate the close relationship, love, and support he had with my dad. He and Ellen are the type of people we need more of in this world. Rest well!
