Hello Boleman family, Oh my when Frank Fisher called to let me know of Ray's passing I was saddened for you all. However I smiled at the same time because Ray and Jan were instrumental in the Fisher lives. Ray took Frank under his wing in Goldsboro days and got him on his way. I enjoyed getting to know the Boleman's in Goldsboro and Hound Ears (HE a very very special place forever). Thank you Boleman's for coming into our lives. Jan I pray you and your girls will cherish your moments with Ray and know he loved you all very much. love Anna Bray

Jan and Family,
We were so sad to hear of Ray's passing, but the great memories of his life will be in our hearts forever. We have known you both for over 20 years and have shared so many good times together. Parties, church, golf, good times at Hound Ears Club - it was always fun to be in Ray's company and we remember laughing over his spontaneous comments at times!
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers and we pray for peace and healing in the days ahead. We are neighbors and not far away if you need us.

I have many quality memories of Ray, including a ski trip to Big Sky, Montana and more than a few golf rounds at Hound Ears Golf Course. My most vivid memory is when Ray was inducted as a Deacon at Middle Forks Baptist Church. He and Jan had invited Judy and I to attend that event and Ray was absolutely thrilled with the thought of becoming a Deacon at that church. It was an inspirational time and Ray was most joyful during that time. Ray had his priorities in order with God, wife, family and balance in living. As trite as the phrase may be, Ray is indeed in a better place, though to be greatly missed by family and friends.

Ray and Jan were special friends. We were so lucky to get to know them at their Florida home in Colonial Country Club. We shared the same wedding anniversary date and Ray and I had birthdays ony a few days apart.
We built memories at Colonial, went on an amazing Viking River Cruise and visited them at Hounds Ears.
I loved cooking for Ray, he had his favorites.
One of the sweetest things he did was after our last visit. I told Ray how one of my granddaughter's asked me to read the Bible to her before bed. He and Ray went out and bought her a Child's Bible and sent it to her.
Ray was a very special man and will remain in our hearts always.
We love you Ray!
