Dalene, Angie and Chad and kids, Matthew, I lost my father October 18th, ten years ago. My heart goes out to you and your precious family; I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words, but I’m praying you all feel the perfect peace that passes all understanding, that only He gives. The road ahead is hard but you are not alone. I had the privilege of serving with Mike on the Bethel Baptist Church Building Committee where he provided his wealth of knowledge and experience for all the Committee members to draw upon, as we developed and continue to develop plans to expand the church sanctuary and its mission to reach those for Christ who know Him not. That was always premier in Mike's goal for expanding the church facilities, to reach those coming behind us, and to provide worship facilities for those in the present. I will miss his guidance on this Committee, his fellowship in our SS class and a great sense of humor for which one had to pay attention to his one-liners. See you soon, Mike--John Morris

As my Sunday school Teacher, Mike brought me closer to knowing how to apply Christianity in my life daily. He shared his faith openly and with sincerity. I enjoyed listening to his teachings and will certainly miss his sweet chuckles. May you all be comforted through this difficult time.
