I live beyond the Norris home and would stop by occasionally to visit Juanita after her husband died.
I enjoyed talking with her about a wide range of subjects from gardening to politics. I’m glad she was able to spend her final days at home, thanks to her daughters and caregiver. She was a good person, and I will miss her.

Brenda and Sandra I want tell you how sorry I am about the passing of your mom . About a month ago I saw her in Walmart it seemed she had never changed . Just as sweet and loving as always. She was the best . I always loved her .I’m sooo sorry that I can’t make it to the service or viewing as I have obligated myself to something tonight and tomorrow I have to go to my Cousin Aaron Hodges Funeral . Just know both of you will be in our thoughts and prayers . Love you both

I am so sorry that death has to be a part of our lives. It is so hard to accept that those we love the most must leave us. The only comfort we have is our faith that there is a reward for living well and serving God through our service to others. Juanita was an example to us all. The world was a better place because she was in it. I feel privileged to have known her.

0h, the stories Aunt Juanita used to share of her and Uncle Davids courting and early days together. They both had stories to tell and if David got something wrong or irritated Juanita the phrase, "David, I'll snatch you bald headed!" would ring out. Followed by loads of laughter!!! She and Uncle David were the most happy and hospitable couple I have ever known. Much love to this whole loving family!!!
