I knew Marjorie when we were both young youth violinists at Southeastern in Hammond. She was a beautiful girl and an excellent violinist. When my family moved to Mandeville I lost touch. I'm sad to learn of her passing. Condolences to her family.

Marjorie was a close friend from the very first day I met her in music school in Philadelphia. Later, we both won auditions in the Charlotte Symphony the same year which was an amazing feat and timing in itself and particularly for me, as at that point in time, I didn't drive! I took my driver's test with her new car! That's a test of friendship!
And so we've remained in touch throughout the years, emailing each other just a month ago! Her perseverance, sharp wit, mind, grace and caring remain with me.
To Art, Jeff and the family, I extend my heartfelt condolences. May calm abiding surround you.
