I just learned of Mr. Ballenger's passing today. My mother, Sarah, received a call from Mrs. Ballenger. We, myself (Tammy) along with my sisters and mother, met this wonderful family when I was in middle school, 37 years ago! The Ballenger's sponsored my family one Christmas and although we have all moved on w/ our lives, you all have always held a special place in our hearts. There has not been a Christmas in all these years that my mother, Sarah, has not communicated w/ Mr. and Mrs. Ballenger. I am heartbroken to hear of Mr. Ballenger's passing. I pray that the memories will carry you each day w/ a smile in your heart! Thank you for the impact that you made in our lives! It has never gone without a sincere, "THANK YOU!" On behalf of my family, we will always cherish you all and hold you close in your hearts and prayers!
