Amy Lucille Adair Evans, age 101, of Woodbriar Drive, Sugar Grove, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 25, 2012, at her home. Born June 4, 1911 in Lebanon, Indiana, she was a daughter of James and Ethel Bocok Adair. Mrs. Evans was a homemaker, housewife, and a retired secretary from Shumate Printing Company in Indianapolis.
She is survived by her son, James Randolph Evans, of Sugar Grove; one brother, John Adair, of Florida; granddaughter, Michelle Peeples and husband, Kenny, and great-granddaughter, Julie Hayes, all of Griffin, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oren Randolph Evans, and her daughter-in-law, Kathleen 'Kitty' Evans.
Private entombment will be in the Washington Park Cemetery Mausoleum in Indianapolis, Indiana.
