Obituary of Chuck Aldridge

Mr. Charles Dillard �Chuck� Aldridge, age 54, of the Foscoe Community, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at home. Born in Catawba County March 7, 1958, he was the son of the late Dillard Aldridge and Susie Cheek Aldridge. Chuck was a registered landscape architect and the owner of Dillard Landscapes & Hardscape Construction. He loved everything about the natural world and excelled at creating beauty from its resources. He got his love of nature from both his parents and cherished it throughout his entire life. He attended Foscoe Christian Church. He is survived by his mother; Sue Aldridge of Banner Elk, two sisters; Mary Sue Aldridge of Raleigh and Carol Ann Aldridge of Blowing Rock, four Aunts; Dema Spann, Dacota Storie, Dannie White and Dimple Clark, one uncle; Dr. Jack Lawrence, Sr., a special friend; Kitti Edwards, and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; Dillard Aldridge. A Celebration of Life Service for Chuck Aldridge will be conducted Thursday evening at 7 o�clock at the Foscoe Christian Church. Officiating will be Minister Dan Burks. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:30 until 7 o�clock at the Foscoe Christian Church.
