Obituary of Elizabeth Padgett

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Padgett, age 71, of Millard Lane, Miller�s Creek, died Saturday evening, January 7, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Born March 1, 1941 in Tampa, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Thurman Eli and Mellie Blalock Lee. Mrs. Padgett was retired from the 13th Judicial Circuit in Florida where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of Bibleway Baptist Church in Boone and attended Faith Baptist Church in Millers Creek. She is survived by her husband; Neil Allen Padgett, four children; Ronald Edward Allen Padgett of Fredericksburg, VA, Neil Allen Padgett, II of West Jefferson, Marie Ann Winebarger of Mountain City, TN, and Thurman Allen Padgett of Jefferson, five grandchildren, three sisters; Betty Peterson of Gibsonton, Florida, Sandra Kincaid of Wesley Chapel, Florida, and Melba Boge of Tampa, Florida, and one brother; Kenneth Lee of Bradenton, Florida. A Celebration of Life Service for Elizabeth Ann Padgett will be conducted on Sunday January 15, 2012 at 4 PM at Bibleway Baptist Church located at 964 George Wilson Road Boone, NC. 28607. Officiating will be Rev. Michael Greene. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hope Children�s Home, 11415 Hope International Drive, Tampa, FL 33625.
