Richard Stanley Zadlo, age 81, of Rainbow Trail, Boone, died Wednesday afternoon, September 7, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Frank and Mary Zadlo.
Richard was an incredible husband, father and grandfather. He was a man who lived his faith in God every moment of every day. His vocation as a building contractor was a source of great pride and joy.
Richard is survived by his wife of 52 years, Edeltraut Hohle Zadlo; and children, Christina Meadows of Salem, Oregon, Rosemarie and husband, Reid Lawrence, of Asheboro, Richard �Butch� Zadlo and Amanda Winebarger , of Fleetwood; and Heidi and Callion Maddox , of Raleigh. His grandchildren are Annaliese and Patrick Lawrence of Asheboro, Jacob Hicks of Sugar Grove and Bradley Zadlo of Fleetwood.
Private memorial service will be conducted Saturday, September l7, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, officiated by Father Dave Brzoska.
