Barry Lane Miller, 55, of South Slope Loop, Banner Elk, the Foscoe community, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir. Barry was born January l8, l956 in Spencer, Tennessee, but lived most of his life in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a tool and die machinist for the Jordan & Smith Co. in Cleveland. Barry had a great love for music.
He is survived by his children, Cortney and Justin Miller, both of Boone; his parents, Raymond and Joyce Miller, of Blowing Rock; brother, Tim Miller of Boone; sister, Amy Miller of Blowing Rock; nieces, Sally Hicks and husband Garrett, of Vilas, and Nicolette Miller of Willowick, Ohio; and nephew, Cory Miller, of Willowick, Ohio.
A celebration of Barry�s life will be conducted Sunday afternoon, Sept. 4, 2011, at 2:30, at the home of his parents, Raymond and Joyce Miller, 1204 Niley Cook Road, Blowing Rock, NC. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Roten.
