Obituary of Will Bates

July 5, 2011 Mr. Wilford "Will" James Bates, age 59, of Bethel Road, Sugar Grove, died Monday, July 4, 2011 at Watauga Medical Center. Born September 21, 1951 in Winston County Alabama, he was a son of the late Brady and Barbara Miles Bates. Will was a painter. He is survived by his wife; Audrey Bates, one daughter; Stephanie Malendrucullo of Wilmington, Delaware, two grandchildren; two sisters; Cheryl Bates and Belinda Bates both of Haleyville, Alabama, one brother; Curtis Bates of Haleyville, Alabama; his brothers and sisters in law; Vanda and Tim Thiel of Marrero, Louisiana, Janice and David Lasseidne, of Slidell, Louisiana, and Laurie Taulli of New Orleans, one niece; Donnalyn and one nephew; Tony. He was preceded in death by his parents; Brady and Barbara Miles Bates. A memorial service for Mr. Will Bates will be conducted at a later date.
