Ms. Margaret McConnell Watson, age 88, of Apex and a former resident of Queen Street, Boone, died Tuesday morning, June 21, 2011 in Apex. Born November 13, 1922 in Watauga County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Baird McConnell. Margaret was a former member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was retired from IRC.
She is survived by her son; Jeff Watson and wife Debra of Apex, four grandchildren; Joshua Watson, Dara Gentry, Derek Gentry and Darin Gentry.
Funeral services for Ms. Margaret Roberta McConnell Watson will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o�clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Gordon Noble. Burial will follow in Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2 o�clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home.
