Mr. Ronnie Junior Pardue, age 48, of Camp Joy Road, Zionville, died Wednesday morning, March 30, 2011 at home. Born March 20, 1963 in Avery County, he was a son of Ida Snyder Pardue and the late Will Albert Pardue. Ronnie loved to attend Antioch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother; Ida Snyder Pardue of the home, three brothers; R. C. Pardue and wife Pat and Billy Ray Pardue and wife Bitha Lou Pardue all of Zionville, and Danny Pardue of Avery County, four sisters; Margaret Grindstaff and husband Danny of Mountain City, Helen Pardue of Zionville, Patsy Courtner and husband Jerry of Mountain City and Wanda Eldreth and husband Bobby of Boone, a special friend; Shelia Church and a special nephew; Bronson Pardue; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother; J. C. Pardue.
Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Junior Pardue will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Antioch Baptist Church in Mountain City. Officiating will be Rev. Clyde Campbell and Rev. Kenny Ray Vaught. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason, Jared, Ricky, Tony, and Bronson Pardue, Justin Grindstaff, Travis Courtner, Drew Eldreth and Cody Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Clyde Campbell, Jonathan Greene, Scott Brown, Harold Dean Pardue, Burl Pardue and the Staff of Maxim Home Health.
