Obituary of Marie Thomas Castle

Marie Thomas Castle, age 89, of Lancaster, KY, a former resident of Boone, wife of the late Warren Castle, died Friday evening, January 28th at the VA Medical Center in Wilmore, KY.
She is survived by one son, Thomas (Tommy) Castle and wife, Teresa of Lancaster; three grand-daughters: Nicole Marie Castle of Escondido, CA; Sara Jean Stone and husband, Clay and Laura Releford and husband, Chris, all of Lancaster; one sister, Sue Reece and husband Fred, of PA; one brother, Everett Thomas and wife Jone of Trade TN; three sisters-in-law: Pearl Thomas of Trade, TN; Antha Thomas of Lenoir, and Opal Castle of Boone. Eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her husband, Warren Castle, and her parents, Arthur Clyde and Nettie Robinson Thomas, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Glenn, Ray, Dean and Lane Thomas and by three sisters, Mae, Ruth and Mabel Thomas.
Graveside services and burial for Marie Thomas Castle will be conducted Saturday morning, Feb. 5 at 11:00 o'clock at Mount Lawn Memorial Park & Gardens with Rev. Bill Warren officiating.
