Obituary of Willa C. Davis

Ms. Willa Cheryl Davis, age 74, of Banner Elk died Wednesday afternoon at Life Care Center of Banner Elk. Born April 2, 1936 in Watauga County, she was a daughter of the late Worth and Ruby Richards Davis. Willa was a Veteran of the US Air Force, attended Blowing Rock Elementary School and graduated from Cranberry High School in 1952.
She is survived by one sister; Joyce Davis and husband Alan Cutter of Asheville. She was preceded in death by her parents; Worth and Ruby Richards Davis and one brother; Richard Davis Coffey.
Graveside services and burial for Ms. Willa Cheryl Davis will be conducted Saturday at noon at the Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Boones Fork Community Cemetery.
