Obituary of Robert E. Greene

Mr. Robert Estel Greene, age 55, of Joe Shoemaker Road, Vilas, died Monday evening, December 13, 2010 in North Wilkesboro. Born January 28, 1955 in Watauga County, he was a son of Ralph Greene and the late Retha Love Greene. Robert was a carpenter and operated a salvage store. He is survived by his fianc�, Janet Canoy of the home, his children; Dustin Greene and wife Torainna of Butler, Tennessee Daniel Greene and wife Roxie of Elizabethton, Tennessee, Jeremy Greene and wife Chasiti of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, Taylor Greene of the home, Chad Kacmarczyk and wife Amanda of Siler City, and Tabitha Cook and husband Jeremy of Zionville, his father Ralph Greene of Sugar Grove, one step-son; Adam Canoy of the home, one sister; Deanie Wolfe and husband Terry of Zionville, two brothers; Jerry Greene and wife Debbie of Sugar Grove, and Tony Greene of Sugar Grove, one half sister; Gail Ward and husband Bob of Sugar Grove, eleven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Mr. Robert Estel Greene will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Cove Creek Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. Max Gessner.
