Obituary of Larry J. Mast

Mr. Larry J. Mast, age 48, of Floyd Hicks Lane, Elk Park, the Beech Creek Community died Friday morning, October 22, 2010 at Watauga Medical Center. Born October 1, 1962 he was a son of the late Chester Charlie and Carrie Lou Harmon Mast. Larry was a member of Beech Valley Baptist Church and a mechanic for the Town of Boone. He is survived by two brothers; Doug Mast and wife Linda of Elk Park and Marshall Mast and wife Diane of Wilkesboro and a foster brother; Jackie Harmon and wife Janice of Sugar Grove. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services for Mr. Larry Mast will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o�clock at the Beech Valley Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Josh Hamby, Rev. Bill Warren and Rev. Quincy Norris. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 until 2 o�clock. Burial will follow in the Beech Valley Cemetery. The family respectfully requests no flowers and suggests memorials to the Beech Valley Cemetery Fund, in care of Bobby Harmon, 3648 Buckeye Road, Sugar Grove, NC 28679. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 o�clock until 8 o�clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home.
