Rosanne D�Angelo Bangasser, 90 of Boone, went to be with the Lord Saturday October 2, 2010. Born in Lockport, New York, April 10, 1920, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Bangasser; her parents; Marietta and Anthony D�Angelo; five sisters and one brother, and one great grandchild, Nicole Schaller Hayes.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Schaller and husband Roger of Boone, three grandchildren, Anthony Schaller and wife Deborah of Boone, NC, Kimberly Pierre and husband Lewis of Boone, NC and James Schaller and wife Ellen of Blowing Rock, NC, four great grandchildren; Michael, Jamie, Briana and Ryley. She is also survived by two sisters; Frances Brown of Lockport, NY, and Concetta Wendall of Lockport, NY and many nieces and nephews.
Rosanne was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain. She was an avid golfer and a member of Lancaster Country Club, Boca Raton Country Club, and the Boone Golf Course. She was also an accomplished dancer who won many awards. She was a member of St. Elizabeth�s Catholic Church.
A memorial service will take place Thursday morning at 10 o�clock at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport, NY, the place of her birth.
