Miss Opal Faye Bryan, age 71, of Graggville Road, Boone, died Sunday September 26, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Born October 7, 1938 in Watauga County, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Florence Anderson Bryan. Opal was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by three brothers; Lee Bryan of Mountain City, Lewis Bryan of Lynchburg, Virginia and Nathan Bryan of Deep Gap and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Miss Opal Faye Bryan will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Dan Church. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon prior to the service from 1 o'clock until 2 at the church.
