Obituary of Frankie L. Miller

August 7, 2010 Mr. Frankie Len Miller, age 51, of Davis Ridge, Banner Elk, died Friday afternoon August 6, 2010 at Watauga Medical Center. Born September 23, 1958 in Watauga County, he was a son of the late Allie Baxter and Clemmie Alice Miller. Mr. Miller was an avid hunter and fisherman and worked in lawn maintenance. He is survived by his wife; Patricia Davis Miller, his children; Frankie Lynn Hogan and husband James of Fleetwood, Jonathon Baxter Miller and wife Brandy o Lenoir, Lori Miller and fianc�' Nathan Church of Boone, Bryan Miller and wife Amy of Banner Elk, seven grandchildren; Cody and Cory Swift, Patrick and Victoria Hogan, Chole and Ashley Miller, and Brooklyn Miller; and one great grandchild, Taylor Kazmercheck, five brothers; Kenneth Thomas Miller, Sr., and wife Carolyn of Boone, Dannie Miller of Deep Gap, Kurley Miller of Yadkinville, Joey Miller of Lenoir, Kilmer Miller of Lenoir and Curtis Miller of Deep Gap, two sisters; Gloria Miller and Sadie Ward both of Deep Gap, and one sister in law; Doris Miller of Triplett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers; J. L., Ronnie, Tracy, Glenn, Vaughn, J. D. and Clonnie Miller. Funeral services for Mr. Frankie Miller will be conducted Monday evening at 7 o'clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. John Ward, Rev. Wesley Ward and Rev. Eric Proffit. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6 o'clock until 7 o'clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home.
