Obituary of Daisy Lyons Adams

Mrs. Daisy Estelle Lyons Adams, age 91 of Carolina Avenue, Boone, died Monday afternoon at Watauga Medical Center. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Rom Adams, her parents; James Sanford and Lillie Hartley Lyons, four sisters; Bina Townsend, Nannie Belle Lyons, Edna Stansberry, and Cora Mae Lyons and four brothers; Fred J. Lyons, Dolph Ned Lyons, Ralph Elbert Lyons, and Vardell Joseph Lyons. Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Estelle Lyons Adams will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o\'clock at the First Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Roy Dobyns and Rev. Bud Russell. Burial will follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon one hour prior to the service at the First Baptist Church.
