May 20, 2010 Mr. Dan Klink, age 68, Creston, died Wednesday afternoon, May 19, 2010 at Watauga Medical Center. Born August 10, 1941 in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of the late Walter and Mabel Caudill Eby. Dan was retired from the moving and storage business, having owned and operated Klink Transfer and Storage for 27 years. He was a member and past President of the Foscoe Lions Club, Vice Chairman of the Riverview Community Center, and a member of Big Laurel Christian Union Church. He along with his wife Barbara were the co-founders of the High Country Classics Car Club. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Geraldine Klink, one son, Bill Reed and wife Lisa of Florida, and five daughters, Donna Rucker and husband Bruce of Florida, Deb Winnie and husband Mark of Pennsylvania, Debby Vita and husband Larry of Florida, Lori Sanger and husband Jim of Florida and Kim McCune and husband Mike of Boone, one uncle; Len Caudill of California, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Walter and Mabel Caudill Eby. Funeral services for Mr. Dan Klink will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o�clock at the Big Laurel Christian Union Church. Officiating will be Minister Darrel Graybeal and Minister Ken Caswell. Burial will follow in the Foscoe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Riverview Community Center in memory of Dan Klink, in care of Margaret Allen, 220 Roundabout Road, Creston, NC 28615. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 o�clock until 8 o�clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home.
